El Rukn leader Jeff Fort, who spent too much time on the phone,has talked himself into a federal penitentiary where authorities canregulate his calls.
U.S. District Judge Charles R. Norgle Sr. found Fort in contemptof court yesterday for defying earlier orders restricting him to one15-minute call per day to his attorney and ordered him transferred.
Within hours, the U.S. Bureau of Prisons designated Fort for theinstitution at Downstate Marion, one of the nation's most secure.
